FC Barcelona Ready for Historic Match at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

The club confirmed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league 30 months since relocating for construction to commence.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside under the licence granted. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body to host the next European match versus the German side in December at the stadium.
